    • Sworn in February 13, 2017
    • Marshall County District Attorney, 2001-2017
    • Background: private practice; legal analyst for the Alabama House of Representatives; municipal prosecutor in Arab and Albertville; Arab municipal attorney, past chairman, Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center Commission; and past president, Alabama District Attorneys’ Association
    • In his own words: “I will enforce the law fairly, I will stand up for victims, and I will do the hard work of attacking the underlying problems that threaten the safety of our communities. As attorney general, a top priority will be to maintain an effective working relationship with our local law enforcement.
