  • Talladega County, welcome aboard

ACCA is pleased to welcome Talladega County to the ACCA Workers’ Compensation Self-Insurers’ Fund effective Oct. 1. Talladega makes the 59th county where commissioners have found that the best way to manage risk is through a self-insurance pool composed of counties and governed by county leaders. There’s no profit motive, and coverage is custom-designed for county needs. Questions? Call Henry van Arcken, ACCA director of insurance services, 334-263-7594.

    New calendar at www.alabamacounties.org

There have been a few improvements to the built-in calendar on ACCA’s website, and the hope is that they will make it more user-friendly for you. There’s still a red “Register for this event” button, but it is now located nearer the top of your screen and on the right-hand side.
