  • New risk┬ácontrol representative for central Alabama counties
    Meadowbrook Insurance Group has hired a new risk control supervisor to succeed Jerry Gill. Ray Hodge, who has already started work, has more than 20 years experience in commercial experience, primarily in risk control. A map showing his counties and his contact info can be found online.

    ONE SPOT survey info still needed
    The ONE SPOT advisory committee had a productive meeting Friday at the ACCA office, though some counties still owe survey info to the Department of Revenue. This info should be submitted ASAP.

    Debris removal monitoring contracts awarded
    In the event of a disaster, joint bid contracts are now in place for monitoring debris removal. County-specific information went out in the mail Friday, and many details are also posted online.
