  • Breakfast with Alabama’s Congressional delegation
    Registration is open for the Alabama Congressional Delegates’ Breakfast on March 6 in Washington, D.C. If you are making the trip for the NACo Legislative Conference, you won’t want to miss this special event. The deadline to register is Feb. 28.

    A total of 22 counties opted into RAMP (Rural Assistance Match Program) in conjunction with ATRIP.

    Safety coordinators network
    Safety coordinators in counties that are members of ACCA’s Self-Insurance Funds can expect to receive a directory this week of all the county safety coordinators in the state.     2013 cleanup week set
    Alabama PALS (People Against a Littered State) has announced that the annual “Don’t Drop it on Alabama” Spring Cleanup will be April 21-27 this year.     New joint bid items online
    The 2013 prices for the ACCA Joint Bid Program are now available for heavy equipment, herbicides and road signs. These items have already been competitively bid in accordance with Alabama law, and counties can purchase at these prices without having to develop specifications and go through the bid process on their own.
