A county Christmas tree in the capitol
In a special request, Gov. Robert Bentley has asked ACCA to decorate a Christmas tree in the rotunda of the Alabama capitol. The idea is for the tree to represent Alabama’s 67 counties, so we need your help. Each county needs to mail one Christmas ornament that signifies something special about your county to ACCA, Attn: Donna Key, P.O. Box 5040, Montgomery, AL 36103. The ornament could depict the courthouse or another local landmark, or it might be something crafted by a local artist. Ornaments will not be returned, and they must be received by Nov. 2. Questions?
