    Shared Elective for all programs

    In the wake of the disastrous events of 2011, all county officials and employees should be more informed on their role in responding to and assisting in times of crisis.  In addition, this program will focus on federal reimbursement guidelines, coordinating volunteers and assisting your community as it rebuilds from a disaster. This class is not designed for seasoned EMA personnel.  The maximum number of registrants for this class will be 100.

    Location: Marriott Legends, Prattville

    To make your room reservations, call 800-468-3571 and mention the name of the class you are attending. Room rates are $99 per night.

    Directions to the hotel: Take Interstate 65 to exit 179. Travel west approximately one half mile to the third traffic light and turn left onto Highway 82. The hotel entrance is one quarter mile on the left.  The address is 2500 Legends Circle, Prattville, AL 36066.

    Registration and Cancellation Policy
    Registration for each class closes two weeks prior to the date of the class.  Payment must be received prior to the date of the class.

    Cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to the date of the class. Registrants will still be responsible for payment for cancellations made with less than two weeks notice, and no refunds will be available within two weeks of the class.

    Class participants will only receive credit for the class if they attend the entire class.  There are no exceptions to this policy.
