    2. ATRIP-2 Toolbox: Community Input

Last week, citizens in the Chambers County community of Five Points collected 117 signatures in support of ATRIP-2. The petition, addressed to Chambers County legislators and officials, urges state leaders to pass the ATRIP-2 proposal in order to fund repairs to critical damages to County Road 288. Read the petition here.

The ATRIP-2 proposal is expected to be introduced in early April. Now, more than ever, legislators need to hear from local citizens about the need for new infrastructure investments. County leaders are urged to look for an email from Jeannie Gaines later this week about ways to utilize and promote the DRIVE Alabama online survey at the local level.
