  • Third 2026 County Advocacy Day taking place tomorrow
Nearly 50 county leaders will travel to Montgomery tomorrow to participate in the third ACCA County Advocacy Day of the 2026 Regular Session. With the session now more than halfway over, it is growing more and more important that participation increase so that we can ensure a successful end to the session and quadrennium. Each remaining County Day will begin at 11:15 a.m. with lunch and a legislative briefing at the ACCA Headquarters, followed by lobbying at the Alabama Statehouse. County Family members can register for County Advocacy Days by referring to the “Events/Education” and “2026 Legislative Session” tabs on the online community. For registration questions or assistance, please contact the ACCA Events/Education Team.

Each meeting begins at 10 a.m. and concludes with lunch at a local restaurant. Meeting participation is free, but individuals who wish to participate are asked to R.S.V.P. for their meeting through the online community.
