Buddy Sharpless Education Institute

(formerly Alabama Local Government Training Institute (ALGTI)

The Buddy Sharpless Education Institute (formerly ALGTI) is a partnership between ACCA and Auburn University’s Government & Economic Development Institute to offer professional development for professional public servants. The institute also oversees the County Government Education Institute for county employees.

The Buddy Sharpless Education Institute offers:

• The 50-hour, state-mandated Commissioner Education Program;
• The optional 70-hour Commissioner Graduate Program.
