There are three major programs for county employees.

County Government Education Institute (CGEI)

The County Government Education Institute provides professional development for a variety of county employees. It offers:

• A  basic-level certificate;
• A certificate in county administration;
• Designation as a certified county administrator;
• A certificate in county engineering;
• A certificate in emergency communication.

Alabama Local Tax Institute of Standards and Training (ALTIST)

ALTIST offers the certified revenue examiner program.

CROAA Education Program

In Partnership with Jacksonville State University, CROAA offers the certified county revenue officer designation.
